Berwickshire Tenants Panel

Berwickshire Tenants Panel Logo.

We at Berwickshire Housing Association want to involve all our tenants in the development and improvement of our housing policies, including rent setting, repairs and anti social behaviour.

The Berwickshire Tenants Panel has been set up to work closely with the Association and we are asking you to get involved.

To ensure that housing policies are fair to everyone, the Association would like the Panel to be as representative of the Berwickshire community as possible.

The Berwickshire Tenants Panel intends to engage with groups who are under represented. These include the disabled, people with specific health issues, young people, older people and minority groups.

Many groups in Scotland have reported that their views are not taken into account or that the issues that they face have not been taken seriously. The tenants panel has been set up to ensure that the opinons and views of every tenant can be heard.

As a member of the Panel you’ll be consulted regularly on a range of issues, and you can choose how you’d like to be involved. Any responses to consultation exercises will be kept anonymous and if you get involved you'll get regular updates about actions taken as a result of your input.
